HP Model 15-ab292nr win10 64 bit.

My OEM wifi adapter is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC3165 and i have download the service manual for my laptop which suggests Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter (non vPRO) as an upgrade. I would like to install but i cannot seem to find a Non vPRO version to purchase(7265.NGWG.NVW).

Hello DT8, Thank you for posting on the Intel® Communities. Take into consideration that your computer manufacturer may limit the computer to only specific wireless adapters, causing an installation error when booting with a different, previously installed wireless adapter. We recommend contacting the HP, vendor, or place of purchase about availability and support for Intel Wireless Adapter upgrades. Laptop manufacturers must meet regulatory requirements to determine if you can install the Intel Wireless Adapter in your system. The vPRO designation simply means that the adapter has the ability to be used for wake-up and remote console access (ala AMT). For non-vPRO systems (or vPRO system where you don't care about the vPRO features), you can use either the non-vPRO or vPRO versions - provided you laptop does not implement White/Black List(s) that prevent it, as AMY pointed out.
