I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection with driver 9.0.4.39. I traveled cross country last week with a perfectly working computer. When I got to the hotel, my laptop started crashing every 20 minutes - blue screen of death. Microsoft Windows Tablet Edition error reporting diagnosed it as a problem with my Intel network driver.
That same day, Windows did a major update.
I updated my Intel driver. Ever since, my wireless connects to the internet fine. However, after five minutes or so, I can no longer get anything from the web. The software says I'm connected. I can ping fine. All diagnostics are fine. Refreshing ip, ipconfig, starting and restarting the card do not help.
I need to reboot to get connectivity again.
Any ideas? This is a brand new problem.
