I am really sorry for this issue.
I suggest two steps verification in regards of the wireless adapter functionality:
- You may want to check that your system has WiFi connectivity enabled. The system manufacturers usually provide a hardware or software switch for this purpose, sometimes is a combination of both. http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/cs-020275.htm Intel Wi-Fi Products; Wireless radio cannot be enabled from software
- Once you checked the first step you may want to check the status of the Intel® wireless adapter driver in Device Manager (Control Panel). By having the WiFi switch enabled the wireless adapter should appear there and show: "This device is working properly". http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-025417.htm Intel Wi-Fi Products; Identify your Intel wireless adapter and driver version number
If the wireless adapter does not appear at all you may have a hardware issue and it is recommended to contact the system manufacturer for assistance.
