Hello @DODY

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to understand better the behavior and your environment, please provide us with the following information so we can provide better assistance:

1- Is the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 the original wireless adapter that came pre-installed in your system or did you integrate/install it on the computer?

2- When did the behavior start to happen? Did it work fine before? Were you able to have your wireless connection in a normal/expected performance before? Please provide details.

3- Do you remember if this behavior happened after a new Windows update or Wireless/Bluetooth driver update?

4- How far are you from the Router? Are there objects or walls that may be blocking the signal?

5- Have you checked if this issue happens testing only the computer and the router? (no other wireless devices connected to the wireless network during this test).

6- What is the model of the wireless card on the other laptop? Also, is that other laptop connected to the same wireless network? (is it in the same location as your computer?)

7- Have you tried a different router or Access point for testing purposes? Have you rebooted your access point, router, modem? Please provide the Router/Access Point (AP) maker(s) and model(s):

8- Is this happening with both Wireless bands? (2.4GHz and 5GHz?)

9- How are you monitoring the speed is limited to 65 Mbps? Please provide details and screenshots if possible.

10- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
  • Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.

To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
