[i9-12900ks, RTX4070TI, 32gb Ram] I have had this issue for many months, and i cannot for the life of me find a solution or anyone with a similar issue. the adapter just dropped connection one day and refuses to connect to the internet, ive reset the router, ive gotten a new router and network and the issue persists. Bluetooth and ethernet both worked with no issue, so the adapter isnt dead. ive since replaced the adapter and i cant get it to work either, however the wifi, bluetooth and ethernet all wont connect to anything (so maybe i just set it up wrong?)
Is this problem fixable before i bite the $300 bullet and replace the motherboard?
ive tried command prompt ip resets, and driver updates and roll backs for the adapter.
Please help, i want to shoot my PC

- Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX211 the pre-installed Wi-Fi card in your motherboard or is it an integration (upgrade/ not the original card)?
- What is the model of the motherboard? If it is a laptop, please provide the specific model.

thanks for responding, the AX211 was what came with the motherboard, not a replacement or upgrade. also, the motherboard is a MSI MAG B660 Tomahawk

This is a driver issue when i upgrade to 22.250.1. I have exactly same problem with you.
I just saw there is new version driver, 23.10.0. Let's try this and see if it work

Thank you for the reply and information provided.
Try a Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers, using the latest wireless driver from your System Manufacturer. If it doesn't work, please try this step using the latest Intel wireless driver. Please follow the order described and check the notes:
Note #1: Make sure to check you have all the Windows updates before doing the driver installation. Also, make sure to do this step disconnected from the internet (wi-fi or wired connection) since Microsoft updates drivers automatically and prevents doing the clean installation successfully.
Note #2: Since this is a laptop, we recommend checking with your System Manufacturer and using the driver software provided by them to avoid potential installation incompatibilities. Intel supplies generic versions of Wireless Drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the wireless driver software or software packaging.
Note #3: In case you had to use the Intel driver, please find the instructions on how to install the driver in the download link below the "Detailed Description" section.

my apologies, i havent had a chance to troubleshoot these last few days. All the tutorials im finding for a clean install are very out of date and are showing things i cant access, not sure if this is a device specific thing or not. Also, this is a Desktop PC not a laptop. The motherboard support line is providing no help either.
for reference, i havent had the time to take apart my pc again and replace the adapter back to the original (both are the exact same), but the motherboard doesent seem to notice the deference and the same issue is present. however with the new adapter Bluetooth also refuses to attempt to connect to anything before a red "Couldnt connect" pops up.
Any help or headway would be greatly appreciated

It is worth mentioning that Intel does not support wireless integrations (installing a different wireless adapter into your system/laptop). We recommend you speak to the Manufacturer of your equipment for support on wireless integrations and replacement parts to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of your country and support. It is important to check for compatibility with the System Manufacturer, as there could be certain cards that will not work with the system. An Intel® Wireless Adapter installed in a system that is being sold on the market doesn't necessarily mean that the same wireless adapter can be used or installed in any other systems for the above-mentioned reason and more in the following article under the title "Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade."

Here is proper process for performing a clean WLAN Install (if necessary, substitute your old adapter for the AX211 in this process):
- If you haven't already, download - but do not install just yet - the latest Bluetooth and Wireless driver packages for your adapter. Here are the current links for downloading these drivers: Wireless: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351 and Bluetooth: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18649.
- Most important! Disable Internet access. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable wireless. Keep disabled until told to re-enable. Note this Wireless disable *must* be of type that will persist and stay disabled across reboots.
- From the Apps & Features applet, check for instances of Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Intel Wireless Bluetooth. If none, skip forward to Step 6.
- Uninstall each instance of Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and/or Intel Wireless Bluetooth that is present. When prompted, choose to "Discard Settings".
- Manually reboot your computer, keeping Internet access disabled throughout.
- From the Device Manager applet, check the Network Adapters section for an entry for Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX211 and check the Bluetooth section for an entry for Intel Wireless Bluetooth that has an intel driver associated with it. If neither is the case, skip forward to Step 10.
- Right click on the entry for Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX211 and uninstall it, choosing to (checkmark) Delete the driver software for this device.
- Right click on the entry for Intel Wireless Bluetooth and open its properties. If it has an Intel driver associated with it, then uninstall it, choosing to (checkmark) Delete the driver software for this device.
- Go back to Step 5.
- Install the downloaded Bluetooth driver package (my rule: always install Bluetooth first).
- Install the downloaded Wireless driver package.
- Manually shutdown and reboot your computer.
- Reenable Internet access. Restore Ethernet cable and/or reenable wireless.
- Test.
Note that it sometimes takes multiple uninstalls (and reboots) to clean out the old installations, so don't give up on the process until you hit, say, 10 reboots.
