iwlwifi produces slow boot since Ubuntu 24.04 upgrade on Intel adapter

As said in title, boot time extends by 60 seconds waiting for iwlwifi.

The Intel adapter is as follows according to lspci :

00:14.3 Network controller: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 10)

And here is the dmesg output pointing to iwlwifi :

[ 6.373095] input: HDA Intel PCH HDMI/DP,pcm=8 as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.3/sound/card0/input28
[ 65.517047] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Registered PHC clock: iwlwifi-PTP, with index: 1
[ 65.620467] kauditd_printk_skb: 115 callbacks suppressed

What can I try to maybe load another firmware, or otherwise get these 60 seconds of boot back ?

Hello and thank you for your answer.

As it happens, I solved the issue by deleting all remembered Wifi connections that I didn't use, keeping only the one I have at home.

It immediately made NetworkManager load instantly instead of waiting 60 seconds.

Thanks again,

Best regards
