I have Windows 11 & VS 2019 16.11.32 installed and have successfully installed the latest Fortran compilers on my laptop but failed on my desktop PC. I am using the offline version

I uninstalled previous versions of the compiler using Add/Remove programs.

Installation goes OK until step 7

then starts rollback and ends with

This asks me to report the message so here it is. I would like to get these compilers working again. I previously had the older version (...0.11)  version working fine. Thanks. I've some zipped tmp files from AppData\Local\Temp that I think were created during the installation and I've put them on my Google drive

Update - I think I have solved the problem. I noticed that my ethernet upload speed was very low (the download speed was fine) . After some testing of cables, internet service provider etc, I concluded there must be a fault with the network controller.  So I have replaced the network controller with a new card and all appears to be working fine. I suspect that the installer was having trouble connecting to the mothership and this gave rise to the rather uninformative error and rollback.
