I try to install the Intel oneAPI MKL library on a remote computer with Linux Opensuse with user privileges. I continuously get the following error
Critical Pre-requisites:
(Must be resolved before Installation can begin)
Another program is being installed.
Wait until that installation is complete, and then try installing this software again.
I installed it 8 months ago and it worked fine. When I tried to install it creating a new user deleting the early one, it gave this error. I could not find how to handle it.
The commands that I wrote on the terminal:
wget https://registrationcenter-download.intel.com/akdlm/irc_nas/18483/l_onemkl_p_2022.0.2.136.sh
sh ./l_onemkl_p_2022.0.2.136.sh
Thanks

Yunus, could you share a screenshot of the error screen with us? Also, are you using openSUSE on Windows? If that is the case, then the error would indicate that the Microsoft installer process is frozen. To clear the error, open the Task Manager, select the "Processes" tab and check the box labelled "Show processes from all users". Kill any process called msiexec.exe or msiexec32.exe that are running.
If the above isn't the case, please click here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/documentation/installation-guide-for-intel-oneapi-toolkits-linux/top/prerequisites.html#prerequisites, and check the Prerequisites with regards to the installation of Intel® oneAPI Toolkits on Linux* OS.
Please note that if you have applications with long-running GPU compute workloads in native environments, you must disable the hangcheck timeout period to avoid terminating workloads. To know how to disable that: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/documentation/installation-guide-for-intel-oneapi-toolkits-linux/top/prerequisites/gpu-disable-hangcheck.html#gpu-disable-hangcheck

Hi Yunus, multiple version of Intel® oneAPI Toolkits cannot be installed in the same directory at the same time. We believe this issue is related to another installation taking place in the background at the same time. We suggest you to wait for the completion of that installation and try again.

I think I do not have any installation in the same directory for a long time. I had the same error 2 weeks ago. I tried to install it until now, and still it is not installed. Can it be caused by any other reason?
