Intel Fortran Transfer

We have a Intel Fortran license that needs to be transferred from one user to another. The original license holder has left the business so we are unsure what the process is to get this installed on the new users machine. Please can you assist?

Thanks

The better solution is to install the current version of the product, now part of the Intel oneAPI HPC Toolkit. It is free to everyone. See Solved: The Easy and Fast Way to Install JUST Fortran with Intel® oneAPI - Intel Community for details on how to get just Intel Fortran, or you can use Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit: Cluster & HPC Development Tools for the tookit. On Windows, a supported version of Microsoft Visual Studio is required - the free Community Edition works. See Installing Microsoft Visual Studio* for Use with Intel® Compilers for further details.

If for some reason you want to keep using an old, unsupported version, ask in oneAPI Registration, Download, Licensing and Installation - Intel Community about license transfers.

Hey Steve,

A problem that I'm running into with the "download the latest" approach is that there are compatibility bugs specifically with getting Intel's base and hpc kits jiving with visual studio (particularly the fortran compiler). Is there a way to physically move an installation package (preserving the base and hpc toolkit version) to another machine?

Is the original download .exe for a particular release saved somewhere inside of the OneAPI directory?

Thanks!

I will move this ticket over to our Licensing and Startup forum.  They'll help you move that license to a new user.
