I have used Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran Windows for several years and one year ago transferred it to a new computer using my existing installation routine and license file. However, due to issues with this computer, it needs to be reinstalled, but the installation routine used just one year ago fails. Using the serial number leads to a connection problem:
And trying to use the license file offline fails because the installation program does not recognize a copy of the license file in a directory or on the desktop:
Although Intel claims that installation problems can be submitted without Priority Support, this does not seem to be true. Any insights regarding what has changed over the last year regarding a straightforward installation? Or how to get this question addressed by Intel Support?

Hi Russell, please share the below information with us:
- OS build on which you are installing the software
- Is the installer an online or an offline package?
- Version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed along with it's build version
- Other versions of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® oneAPI already installed on the system
- Installation Log files
The default path for a log file for a oneAPI installation is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\logs
The default path for a log file for a Parallel Studio XE installation is: %temp%\pset_tmp_PSXE<version>_<username>
We would like to know.
