vtune: Error: 0x40000023 (User input error)

Hello, 

Is  this issue resolved, as I am facing the same?

I looked at the issue in the link you posted. This is not one issue, just how the VTune report is used. Did you capture the VTune data and want to generate a formatted data report, right?

But, I see that Vtune reports it as an error.

 

Yes, I want to generate a report out of the generated data.

VTune provides many available reports as below, you can use $ vtune -help report to get online support.

affinity 
callstacks 
exec-query
gprof-cc 
hotspots 
hw-events 
summary 
timeline 
top-down 
vectspots
