I am developing custom board.
I am using "Ethernet Controller I210". But ethernet interface is not working.
My environment is linux and kernel version is 4.18.
I already installed igb driver(5.14).
Here I have a question.
Does "Ethernet Controller I210" need programming?

Hi rayn_81,
It seems that your question is related to design using Ethernet Controller I210. We might have a forum for those specific issues and we are moving it to Embedded Connectivity so it can get answered accordingly.
Best regards,

Hello @rayn_81,
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
The i210 supports flash-less operation, you can try with the document #348742 - Intel® Network Connections Tools 28.2 PV LAN Software Tools.
If you are using ARM, you can check the document #572162 - EEPROM Access Tool [EAT].
And the document #513655 - Intel® Ethernet Controller I210 and I211- AT Production NVM Images may be helpful.
You will need a Premier account in order to get access to these documents.
Also, you can check the Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Ethernet Controllers (LOM):
Best regards,
@Diego_INTEL
