I225 PCIe without PERST and CLKREQ

Hello,

I´m into designing a interface PCBA with the I225 Controller. The evaluationboard I´m using to test my produced board has a M.2 connector so I´ll design the edge of my PCB like the connector. The connector doesn´t use the CLKREQ# and PERST Signals. They are not connected at the evaluation board. Is it still possible to communicate via PCIe without these two auxiliary signals?

Best regards

Marco

Hello Carlos,

thanks for you quick answer. Sadly the signal CLKREQ is not mentioned in these sections. Can you help me with this signal?

Best regards

Marco

Hello Carlos,

this section 1.8 deals with the leakage protection circuit which can be used for the signal path, but not if the signal path is needed or I can just use a Pull-Up resistor at this pin.

Best regards Marco
