Hi

I want to program I210 iNVM.

I need EEUPDATE (document number 348742), and a text file (Intel Business Link in document 513655).

I have followed this:

https://community.intel.com/t5/Embedded-Connectivity/i210-Flash-programming/m-p/195653

But my account doesn't have privileged to access these resources.

Can anyone help me get EEUPDATE (348742) and the text file (513655) for I210?

Best Regards

Hello, @shuodo:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

You need to have a Resource and Design Center (RDC) privileged account to have access to the requested information.

The RDC Account Support form is the channel to process your account update process by filling out the form stated on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/support/my-intel-sign-on-support.html

You should use a business email address to evade any inconvenience. Please avoid the free email provider's address (such as the provided by Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, or others).

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.

Hi @CarlosAM_INTEL

Thanks for your reply. The link you provided seems for "Sign-in issue"

I found this site:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/design/resource-design-center.html?random=-2140754624

And I already registered privileged account " to view pre-release products and confidential documentation." last Friday.

But it is still pending now.

This was sent to my work place email (because I registered using my work email).

"

Thank you for registering for a Developer Zone Premier Account.

If you don't yet have a Corporate Non-Disclosure Agreement (CNDA) signed with Intel, it may take up to 10 working days to review your Premier Account request. You will receive a status update within 3 business days.

"

How can I sign the "Corporate Non-Disclosure Agreement (CNDA)" ? I cannot find it anywhere. Will some one reach me and give me CNDA and let me sign on it in few days? How can I get it speed up?

Best regards,

Shuo

Hi Carlos,

While waiting for getting EEUPDATE, I found BootUtil:

https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/articles/000005790/software/manageability-products.html

Will BootUtil work for us? Note we need to program I210's iNVM, not flash, because we don't have spi flash connected to I210 in hardware.

Is BootUtil only to program the "option ROM" section of flash? which means it won't work for us?

EEUPDATE programs the other sections of flash (where BootUtil does't cover) which is the first two 4K sectors of flash (EEPROM Image or shadow RAM), and iNVM?

Also, when I looked around, I also saw someone use "flashrom" to program I210:

https://community.intel.com/t5/Embedded-Connectivity/I210-External-Flash-Programming-with-a-Tegra-X2/td-p/235553

https://github.com/flashrom/flashrom/blob/master/nicintel_spi.c

https://github.com/flashrom/flashrom/blob/master/nicintel_eeprom.c

However, it seems flashrom is only able to program the spi flash of I210 not iNVM. Do you know will flashrom able to program I210's iNVM?

Best regards,

Shuo
