hello,

i want to design a development board with ATOM X5 z8300. i want it to support win 10 (x86 or x64) and linux.

i want to have :

1. optional 1gig to 4 gig ram,

2. with EMMC or boot from mmc( memory card).

3. HDMI and MIPI LCD support (if possible).

4. USB and PCI-E as many as i can get.

5. I/O (gpio, uart, I2C, I2S,...) as many as i can get.

i want to work only with z8300 for now. i was wondering , how or where can i get a sample schematic and bios.

best regards, JOSEF.

Hello, @jadeh:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

It is important to let you know that unfortunately the Cherry Trail is on the "off-roadmap" and its support is for limited manufacturers. For this reason, this processor family is unsupported by this channel. Click on Cherry Trail website to learn more about the specifications of this family at the following website:

However, the information stated in the Cherry Trail T3 Platform Design Guide document # 540558, Cherry Trail T3 Platform Layout Checklist document # 576781, and Cherry Trail and Braswell SoC BIOS Writers Guide document # 545425 may help you.

These documents can be found when you are logged into your Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account at the following websites:

The RDC Account Support form is the channel to process your account update request and any inconvenience related to the cited sites. It can be found at:
