Possiedo un notebook ACER che monta un processore Intel Celeron N3060 @ 1.6 Ghz, SOCKET 1170 BGA.

Vorrei sostituire il processore con uno più veloce.

Sarebbe possibile? Quale processore dovrei montare?

Ringrazio

You would need to ask acer which processors are supported by their bios, and then select from those.

However, you cannot upgrade your processor as it is soldered to the motherboard.

Usually laptops/notebooks motherboards and firmware are stricter regarding the range of CPU modifications and hardware that they support.

It could be possible that the motherboard of your ACER notebook support other Braswell CPUs, or it might be designed to only support that specific model.

The recommendation is to reach ACER for more information about the supported CPUs.

As for CPU replacement, indeed most notebook motherboards use soldered CPUs, if that is the case with your ACER notebook, it would require a reflow station and some skilled technician to perform the change as it could risk damaging other components or the new CPU if done improperly.

I hope this information is useful for you, if you have any other question, please let us know.
