I have an Intel X520-DA1 card installed on my PC, the Intel update software updates my drivers every month, but since May, it failed to update the driver. Windows says my card driver is a Intel X520-2, I believe my card is an OEM card, I will attach pictures here to be sure.
but I need to make sure I get newer drivers for this thing as I am worried I am not get security updates, as I am getting for the Intel WIFI and Intel BlueTooth stack.
Please advice. My Windows version is 11 Pro at 24H2 , OS Build 26100.1586, Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.18.0
Running on an Intel I9 10900K.

ok, so the auto update from Intel Driver and Support Assistant was failing every month, but what I did was to manual download the zip file for the lastest Intel Driver pack 29.1, went to device manager, click on the Intel 10G card, driver, manually update the driver by pointing to the unzipped directory of the drivers, it found and updated from the 2015 year driver to the current 2024 driver.
I dont know why the auto update was failing over and over, but the manual was just fine.
Now that I completed the manual, went back to the support assistant, allow to run once again, and it came back with installation successful.
