Hi,
This is a follow up to my original post which was closed down before I could shut my server down and put this NIC back in it to test again.....
Anyway, I still can't get 2.5Gb from this card in my Windows Server 2019 box. As per the original post, I did get it to work on a Windows 10 machine using the same switch. So, this tends to suggest it is a driver issue?
Please advise if it's still worth running that utility and uploading the output.
As things stand, I can only get 1Gb no matter what I do on this server. If someone else picks this up other than Irwan, please can you refer back to the original post to get the full history of this?
Cheers.
Chris

Hi Keeop,
Based on those pictures, that is a Dell OEM adapter.
Dell Part Number 64PJ8.

Hi Keeop,
1) You can check for the authenticity of NIC adapter by checking the Yottamark or BradyID code is valid on their site.
If still in doubt you can also contact Intel's support to validate the physical markings and the PCB of the NIC.
Just provides us MM# and PBA number to verify the NIC card.
2) From the pictures, X550 Network daughter card, NDC is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) from Arrow Electronics (Dell Poland).
Its not covered by Intel warranty, as Intel doesn't support OEM or LAN on Motherboard (LOM).
NDC has a proprietary connector to the system board. In other words, a Dell NDC will only work with a Dell server, regardless of the manufacturer’s chip (Intel, Broadcom, etc.)

Hi Irwan,
Duh, I'm going mad. Of course it's a Dell part! Sorry - losing my marbles!
Thanks for the sticker info. I didn't think fake NICs were a thing. Who'd have thought it?! OK, will know what to look for next time then.
Cheers.

Hi Keeop,
Yup, that rights, OEM products have different integrations and warranty support that differ from Intel Retail Products. You can check with them for the said support.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or we can close this case accordingly.
