Hi,
We want to configure NVMe/RoCE with ECN (Explicit Congestion Notification).
Can you please share the document for the same?
FYI,
We are using a PCIe card.
Intel Server Board S2600BP and Intel Server Board S2600WF.
Intel Ethernet Network Adapter E810-XXVDA2/E810-CQDA2.
We have configured RDMA using the document 608515-NVM Express over Fabrics for Intel®
Ethernet Products with RDMA.
Regards,
Sushrut Bhokre

Hello Sushrut,
Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.
For us to further check the issue, please provide the following details.
- What is your OS?
- Can you provide more details on why you are setting up this feature?
- Kindly send photos of the card on both sides focusing on all the markings for us to check if the card is not an OEM unit.
If you have questions, please let us know. In case we do not hear from you, we will make a follow up after 3 workings days. Thank you.

Hi Michael,
1. We are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 (Ootpa), Kernel Version Linux 4.18.0-372.9.1.el8.x86_64
2. We have configured NVMe/RDMA. We want to configure NVMe/RoCE with ECN (Explicit Congestion Notification) to measure and eliminate the packet drop happening.
3.
Can you provide ECN configuration for NVMe/RoCE.
Additionally, it would be of great help if you could provide any method/setup for checking packet drop during RDMA transfer.
Regards,
Sushrut Bhokre

Hello Sushrut,
Thank you for the quick reply, however we need to gather more details to further check this inquiry.
- It is hard for us to validate the unit from the label, kindly send photos of the unit on both sides of the card for us to validate them.
- Kindly generate the SSU log of your system, please download the utility below:
