I have two NICs that are suppose to be the same part number, however, one is recognized as a dual port server adapter, while the other is recognized as a dual port network connector. Can anyone tell me why?

Please share additional information of your setup. The two NICs were installed on windows system? Is it possible to share the 6-3 digit markings found in the white

sticker of your two NICs.
