Re: Why cannot set JumboPacket at VLAN?

Win10 1903 [Version 10.0.18362.329], X710 SFP adapter.

I can set JumboPacket '9014 Bytes' at the parent adapter successfully (with Set-IntelNetAdapterSetting cmdlet). I can add VLANs successfully (with Add-IntelNetVLAN powershell cmdlet). But then I cannot set JumboPacket at VLAN:

PS C:\> Get-IntelNetVLANJumboPacket -ParentName "Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GbE SFP+" -VLANID 253 | Set-IntelNetVLANJumboPacket -RegistryValue "9014"

Have checked at Win10 1809 [Version 10.0.17763.737] - same behavior, VLANs work, but cannot set up jumbo.

Based on our latest investigation, Jumbo Packets are not supported on VLANs on Windows 10 client. X710 is not supported on Windows 10 client. An update will be posted soon for the environment that supports jumbo packets on VLANs.

I cannot find any related info in the latest Intel Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10 Release Notes.

And we have X520 on Win10 (maybe older build) with jumbo packets working on VLANs.
