2d FIR filter image filtering time

 I want to ask, how can I measure image filtering time of 2D FIR filter?  The pixels of image comes from frame buffer.  Thank You  Kycas

simulate and measure the time between sop of input and output will give you a good idea. it may be somewhat elastic, so you may see +/- a few clocks on average

how to do the simulation? I want to know what time image filtering takes on a particular system (I'm using Cyclone III starter kit)
