We are currently using the ALTGX module to transmit HD-SDI signal out on ARRIA II GX part. Using Quartus 9.1 every seems to work fine. However, this module does not have SD-SDI option available to transmit SD (270Mbps) video format. Is there anyway to get around the issue?
plus, what is the reason why SD-SDI option is missing from the module? NOTE: There are only HD and 3G available from megaWizard !! Thanks in advance, JIMMYLink Copied

Have a look on the IP SDI.
It's under interfaces and has what you're looking for. GXB are the physical transceiver and SD-SDI are serial that runs at only 270Mbit so they're "slow" for GXB. You can use a "normal" LVDS IO. Hope it helps. Best regards
