Difference between DDR2 SDRAM controller with ALTMEMPHY and with UNIPHY

Hi everybody, 

I am trying to use DDR2 SDRAM controller with ALTMEMPHY with cyclone V GT device, but in qsys I found error, "Device family cyclone V is unsupported", So please anyone tell me what is the difference between ALTMEMPHY and UNIPHY. 

and also is it compulsory to use DDR2 SDRAM controller with UNIPHY for cyclone V GT device.

You are right. Cyclone V only support UniPHY based controller. The difference between UniPHY and ALTMEMPHY can be obtained from our EMIF handbook.
