thanks for your feedback. but it seems that the CAST core is a device controller, not a host controller. do you know that whether a host controller is available?

I haven't tried it, but you could look at this. It's at least free (sort of). Wish bone is the Opencores.org version of an Avalon bus, in case you didn't know. If you don't know what an avalon bus is, well I guess this post is pretty useless to you... surely you want your USB host controller to talk to something.
