HDMI RX IP question

used HDMI Intel ® FPGA IP and Rx IP. The interface part has a signal:

(in -5V -power). I checked the HDMI 2.0B specification requires the core to respond to the presence of the 5V input from the connector and the state of the HPD signal. The 5V input and HPD signal are used in the register mechanism update.

But in the actual hardware design, this signal(in -5V -power). does not flow out,

Need to confirm whether RX IP core is related to the signal of (in -5V -power). ?  If do not send the signal "in -5V -power " to the IP core, is there any problem? If the hardware is not connected, can it be set to high level directly in the code?

hi,

As per my understanding, 5V signal is used together with the HPD signals as explained in below HDMI board design guideline doc

As this is part of HDMI spec requirement, I don't think we can ignore this signal

Thanks.
