I have the DE1 board from University Program, and I need the DSP builder license; when I'am triying to obtain the license it is asking me for the serial number of my kit, I have and type the serial number but appers the next message: "The Serial Number you entered does not exist in our databases!".

The error message that I obtain when I use Signal Compiler in simulink is "Error: Can't get license for C4D5_512A

Error: Error opening input file for decryption "

Help Me please.

I do not believe that the DE1 kit includes a license to allow usage of the DSP Builder blockset within the MatWorks tools.

This is why you are getting the error message you are getting.

Ask your prtofessor if they have a license file with the code to allow usagew of the DSP Builder Blockset. The license file will have a line in it wit the code C4D5_512A. That is why you are getting the error message you are getting.
