IP upgrade fail

Hi, 

 

I have a design using several simple IPs (sqrt, muladd , rams etc) made on Altera Quartus 16. When i open the project with Quartus 15 it prompts for IP upgrade which fails in all but one IPs. Is there any workaround on this issue, or any way to create IP that supports previous versions too, so that we don't to create those IPs from scratch?
