Howdy!
I'm using an OpenCore Plus IP at the moment and would like to look at two signals in signal tap. My problem is that I am not allowed to open the signal tap window once the FPGA is programmed. Is this a common feature for all OpenCore blocks to hide information about the core? I can see the idea behind it but it's frustrating. Best Regards, Ola BångdahlLink Copied

Hi,
I had the same problem. You don't have to close the "pop up window", to use Signal Tap you have two ways: 1) Program the fpga then open another Quartus II instance and open your project the use Signal Tap. 2) Use the command line and program the fpga with the command quartus_pgm. I use the first, it isn't the best way but it is simple e quick! I hope this help you Best regards Luca- Mark as New

Thank you Luca,
I've managed to solve my problem without signal tap this time but I will probably run into the same problem further up the road. Best Regards, Ola Bångdahl- Mark as New

You can program the FPGA from within the signaltap window.
