Hello,
I am attempting to simulate a design in QuestaSim. The design uses the altera_iopll IP. However, in simulation, QuestaSim is looking for an embedded tennm_iopll IP that I cannot seem to find the location of in any simulation build output directory. It is referenced in the simulation's modelsim.ini, but there is no location bound to it.
What is this IP, and where can I find it for use in QuestaSim?

Are you using the Questa included with Quartus or standalone? What device are you targeting?
Perhaps you didn't generate simulation files for the IP when you generated it: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683870/25-1/siemens-eda-questasim-simulator-support-43743.html

This is Questa standalone (will have to investigate the Quartus one later).
The IP simulation files were generated, but this tennm_iopll IP is internal to the generated IP that every Altera IP seems to just be a wrapper for ([ip]_[string of chars].ip module in the 1920 folder) and is missing from all my project files.

Have you did the Tools > Generate Simulator Setup Script for IP, in Quartus (check section 2.4. QuestaSim* Simulation Setup Script Example) and source it in QuestaSim (check section 2.5 Sourcing QuestaSim* Simulator Setup Scripts), in the user guide link provided by sstrell?
