Emulating the 80186 core on an FPGA

Hi,

I am starting a new a project and I need to implement the 80186 Core. I am soliciting your assistance in choosing an Intel FPGA IC, that should have enough resources to emulate the aforesaid architecture.

This potential candidate will be used on an industrial switching application. We might also need to emulate a Delta sigma ADC (12-bit resolution and 16 channels). I am in the process of doing a comparison between using an off the shelf microprocessor IC and an Intel FPGA. So, I would , also, love to have an idea about the costs (Hardware + Software (IPs)).
