Passive parallel asynchronous Configuration supported FPGA devices

Hi, In our old design we have used "EP1K50FI256-2" FPGA, which is not available now (EOL). This FPGA is configured as PPA mode (Passive Parallel Asynchronous).

 

While searching "ACEX® 1K" migration path we found below link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/knowledge-base/component/2017/what-is-the-replacement-device-for-eol-parts.html

 

Which says MAX V device is compatible to ACEX 1K device.

1. Whether MAX V device support PPA mode. If yes please share us Application note.

2. If not please suggest PPA mode next available FPGA.

Hi SThat5,

 

MAX V device did not support PPA mode.

 

However, you can configure the MAX V device in passive serial (PS) or fast passive parallel (FPP) scheme.
