Hello,

Board - 'Cyclone V SoC Development Kit and SoC Embedded Design Suite'

When I connect a USB cable to the 'HPS USB' J1 port ( back of board to left of GigaBit Ethernet port ) Windows is unable to recognize the device. When connected to win10x64 comes up with Device not recognized , device malfunctioned, In device manager it displays 'Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)', please check image1 and image2.

I have tried 3 different cables in 3 different ports ( 2 USB2 and 1 USB3)

Hi.

Take a look on my thread:

A lot of ideas are there. May be one of them will help.

Hi,

Which version of Quartus did you install? Did you install the device installation after the Quartus installation?
