Black borders on both sides of screen – HP Laptop 15s-fq2xxx

I have an HP Laptop 15s-fq2xxx, and there are black borders on the left and right sides of the screen (it doesn’t fill the entire display).
I set the resolution to 1920×1080 and checked the Intel Graphics Command Center, but there’s no Full Screen option, and the issue still exists.

First step: check in Windows Settings → System → Display whether the resolution is set to the native panel resolution and that “Scale and layout” is at 100% (or the recommended percent). If everything there looks OK, open Intel Graphics Command Center → Display → Scaling and make sure “Maintain Display Scaling” (or “Scale full screen”) is selected instead of “Center image.” Sometimes laptops like yours, especially with mixed-GPU setups, default to center mode and render the image with black bars.
