Hello Manteske,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- Can you provide the title of the games that you are playing?
- This processor does not have onboard Graphics. Can you tell me the brand and model of the Graphics controller that you are using?
- When did you start having this issue?
- What was the last change made in the system before you start to have this issue?
- Please help generate the SSU logs of your system for me to check the hardware and installed drivers. Please refer to the link below on how to generate the logs:
How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello,
Your CPU is likely power throttling, not thermal throttling. Check your BIOS power limits (PL1/PL2 or PPT) and raise them. Also, ensure you're using a High Performance power plan in Windows.
Best Regard,
Angela

Your CPU is likely throttling voltage and clock due to power limits, not temperature. Check BIOS power settings and update firmware.
