3 monitors with Intel HD Graphics 4000

Hello, I trying to connect 3 monitors to my PC (Core i5-3570K/HD Graphics 4000). I have 3 ports on my mother board - DVI, HDMI and VGA. Two monitors (DVI+HDMA) work well, but when I connect third monitor over VGA, then only two of them work. Any two monitors work good in any combinations (DVI+HDMI, DVI+VGA, HDMI+VGA), but not all together - when third monitor is connected then one of them shows black screen anyway.

Windows 10 detects all monitors in display properties, but no image appears at one monitor even during BIOS start while two another ones show ASUS motherboard logo.

Also, I read about this videochip requires that if you use more than 2 monitors then all connections should be digital. In other words it is unable to mix analog VGA with any other digital connections. It's ok, but how should I use only digital connections for 3 monitors if I have only DVI, HDMI and VGA ports on my motherboard?

Your processor supports three monitors. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/65520/intel-core-i5-3570k-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-80-ghz.html

So, check with Asus.

I additionally add:

  • There is no "videochip" per se; the Intel HD Graphics engine is built into the processor.
