Merhaba. intelin piyasa taleplerini doğru okuduğu konusunda şüphelerim var. Benim kanaatime göre tüketiciler için mobilite ve görsellik ağırlıklı katlanabilir laptoplar popüler olacak. Bu konuda yaşadığım en büyük sorun olabildiğince az enerji harcayan mobil işlemcilerin grafik işlem gücünün orantısız düşük olmasıdır. Yani daha açık anlatmak gerekirse, intelde işlemci bölümüne ayrılan transistörlerin fazla olduğunu, grafik bölümüne ayrılan transistörlerin az olduğunu düşünüyorum.

4kplus 120hz ips paneli besleyebilecek ama tdp değeri 6w civarında olacak işlemciler üretebileceğinizi düşünüyorum. Mevcut satışta olan alt seviye işlemcilerde çekirdek sayısını azaltıp, grafik transistor bölümüne ağırlık verseniz intel7 teknolojisi bile bu istediğim işlemciyi üretebilir.

1215u serisi işlemci kullanıyorum. Birçok farklı programı beraber kullanmama rağmen işlemcinin %60-70 civarı boşta bekliyor. Lenovo yoga 9 da kullanılan 4k 60hz 14" ips lcd ekranı çok beğeniyorum. Çünkü ips paneller gözlere doğrudan ışık vermiyor ve saatlerce yazı karakterleri okuyabiliyorum. 300ppi üstü ips parlak ekran panellerin gerçek bir kitap defter kadar başarılı olacağını görüyorum. Bunun gibi birçok ürünün piyasaya çıkmasına engel olan durumun intelin strateji hataları olduğunu düşünüyorum. Özellikle çinli firmalar çok uygun fiyatlara 4k ips panel harici monitörler üretiyor. Bu panelleri besleyebilecek işlemciler, intel7 teknolojisi ile bile üretilebilir. 1500$ yerine 400$-500$ ödeyerek alabileceğimiz yoga 9 benzeri laptoplar öğrenciler için çok ciddi bir pazar oluşturacak kanaatindeyim.

4K @ 120 Hz on external monitors are supported by Intel Graphics since Intel Iris Xe was released (2020 - 2021).

Intel Core i3-1215U Processor contains UHD Graphics capable of a max resolution of 7680 × 4320 @ 60Hz (8K). The PHY (physical layer) is compliant to the standard DisplayPort 1.4a HBR3 signaling including Display Stream Compression (DSC).

Thunderbolt (USB Type-C connector) is capable of tunneling DisplayPort 1.4a HBR3. I use an Intel NUC11 which was introduced in early 2021 together with this:

This cable contains the Synaptics VMM7100 protocol converter chip. It can provide 4K @ 120 Hz HDR 10-Bit Color Depth on HDMI connector site by transforming DisplayPort HBR3 video and audio including Dolby Atmos/DTS:X signaling to HDMI Fixed Rate Link (FRL) 40 Gbps suitable for modern HDMI 2.1 TV sets. Please note that this product may arrive with older firmware than mentioned. If it is not working correctly, a firmware update can be done through Microsoft Windows when the product is plugged. Cable Matters provide updates on their website.

However, it is up to OEMs like Lenovo to make this usable for the consumer. There really isn't a deficit in the underlying Intel technology. The signal path from the processor to ports on the device may require additional components, which the device manufacturer must consider according to market positioning, available space and pricing policy. This is not up to Intel.

The Lenovo Yoga 9 you mentioned says in its user manual:

4K @ 120 Hz RGB 8-bit = 100% bandwidth need of DP1.4

5120 × 3200 @ 60 Hz RGB 8-bit = 95% of DP1.4

4K @ 120 Hz should work with the Lenovo Yoga as well on an external monitor. If not, this is not related to the underlying Intel technology. You will have to ask Lenovo then.

Talking specifically of the Intel® Core™ i3-1215U Processor as @MUC mentioned it has an Intel® UHD Graphics for 12th Gen Intel® Processors, and these are the resolutions supported:

Max Resolution (HDMI): 4096 x 2304 @ 60Hz

Max Resolution (DP): 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz

Max Resolution (eDP - Integrated Flat Panel): 4096 x 2304 @ 120Hz

Note: System or device display resolution is dependent on multiple system design factors; actual resolution may be lower on your device.

You must manufacture a special version of the Intel® Processor N200 6M Cache model processor. You should only add graphics transistors of this processor. We need a special model with higher graphics memory. Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics eligible graphics features must be added to this processor.
