Add Support for WDDM 2.7 on 6th Generation Processors

I have a laptop with a Intel Core i5 6300HQ, which has a Intel HD 530 iGPU and an Nvidia GTX 960M GPU using Nvidia Optimus technology. Using the latest Windows 10 2004 Build 19041.264 and Intel Driver 27.20.100.8280. Running DxDiag shows the WDDM version of the driver as WDDM 2.1.

Windows 10 2004 has a new functionality called Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling that provides smoother video playback and average framerates, but it requires a WDDM 2.7 driver. Plus, the current low WDDM version of the driver is interfering with some of the Nvidia discrete GPU's functionalities, according to an Nvidia rep: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvidia-geforce-446-14-whql-driver-download-discussion.432442/page-9#post-5794783

Intel should release a WDDM 2.7 driver for Intel 6th Generation Processors.

Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:

Then ATTACH the text file (using the paperclip under the toolbar).

Hello IMest,

Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community Forums.

This feature is currently not supported by the latest Intel DCH drivers.

Intel is looking to include support for this feature in future driver releases. Keep checking Download Center for all future driver releases.
