After screen rotation, the screen display will cause Z distortion when playing video or quickly switching photos. Intel CRB has the same issue.

 We tried several monitors.

ENVIRONMENT:

. Display = HDMI/DP 

. Resolution = 1920x1080p / 1920x1920 

. OS = Ubuntu 18.04, Kernel 4.18.20

 

STEP:

1. System boot up

2. Rotation display to left/right/inverted

3. Play video

 

RESULT:

screen will cause Z distortion. see the attached recording video.

 

Driver Name and Version: kernel 4.18

OS and Version: Linux Ubuntu 18.04

vBIOS/GOP Version and Type: InsydeH2O Version: V0.01/GOP: 10.0.1001

Based on the information that you have provided we would recommend you to test installing Windows* and check if the issue persists.
