All,, uninstalling the current driver will not make your system unusable. I would recommend creating a Restore Point first to have a known good configuration to restore to in the event the results are not what you expected.

I can confirm that installing the new driver using the instructions previously provided fixes all problems and allows for regular gameplay of Titanfall. Damn fine work, gentlemen. That was fast.

I was encountering the black screen on driver installation.

Toshiba Satellite C855

Windows 8.1 64-bit

Intel Core i3-3120M 2.50GHz

6.00 GB Ram

I installed the newest driver. The process went smoothly. I immediatly jumped into Titanfall. I played for two hours flawlessly. Well done.

A lot of people say integrated cards won't work on games but I have been using this card for 13 months and playing all of the games I want to play. You have produced a quality product and surprised me with the driver update.

Would my computer perform better if I uninstalled the old driver and installed this new one? I downloaded the new driver without uninstalling the old driver.

I can now confirm tTheSpeakman's assertion that the driver works. The models and map elements are intact so far, and I can see the gun in the player character model's hand. Fine work, gentlemen.

I'm getting an error message saying the driver isn't validated for my laptop so I guess this means this driver is incompatible with Intel HD 4000. Time to work on getting my refund now.

WOrks but screen tearing is still heinous and the game is very unplayable. Idk if anyone else is having the same problem but aiming is very hard online with this amount of screentear

well speaking of texture glitches due to memory leaks, even trials evolution has such glitches but in much magnified intensity; it would be great to see these type of issues fixed

From time to time when playing Thief, the driver crashes and Thief stops responding. When in full screen mode i have to press alt+ctrl+del and logoff. In windowed mode, i can kill the process through windows taskmanager or through cmd > taskkill. I must note the driver is much more stable with Thief. The latest stable version crashed thief any random time. While with the latest beta driver i could play for 2 hours.

notice: Win8.0 x64, Intel HD4000, intel x64 driver, Thief x64 version

Then there is the problem while looking around, that sometimes surfaces turn black or sometimes dark.

I also noticed that when a surface turns black and there is a "blood spatter" texture over it, the blood spatters gets very blurry and pixelated.

Garret's hands are black when entering Basso's hideout.

  1. Last part are just blurry textures. Paintings, books in shelves, news papers, road signs. Even in chapter 4 A friend in need when Garret holds the large map in the cut scene, the whole map is unreadable.
