Add me to the list of people who get a black screen....
HP G60t-200CTO
Windows 7 64 bit.
I uninstalled the previous intel driver (8.15.10.1986) and installed 8.15.10.2086.. and got a black screan... grrr... Other older intel drivers have worked just fine so I don't agree that it's a special vendor bios issue.

I had to click the little "i" in the upper right hand corner of the border.. like almost where you would close a window. That gave me what Robert is looking for.

Please make sure to also give your computer make and model along with the GMA diagnostic info. Maybe with enough info we can get a fix.

As you can see, i am currently running the 8.15.10.2021 driver, from December 14th 2009.
And as for the manufacturer's recommendations, HP's utility says that my driver is newer than what they have.
For God's sake, we're almost in May, and we can't use drivers from 2010.
Maybe it is a customization issue, but i'm running your hardware. Please fix this.

Hello Robert_U,
Are you still out there? I'm adding myself to the list of folks unable to resolve the issue of BSOD or freeze following installation of the Intel Series 4 Chipset driver. I own a Toshiba Satellite T115-S1100. As of today, your most current version is v8.15.10.2281 loads and I get past windows logo then a freeze with some artifact right at password screen. I have also tried 2302; also the latest driver found on Toshiba website. Have also tried drivers from Toshiba recovery disc. Laptop functions OK with 1024x768 resolution for most functions but would like to resolve the issue.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you,
Dan

I would suggest contacting Toshiba for this issue. Because the issue is not resolved with the drivers or recovery from Toshiba, it could possibly indicate a HW issue.

I am having a similar issue. Sometime I get the black screen then windows 7 (64 bit) recovers and said there was an error with a video driver. Other times it blue screens and restarts. Other times it just freezes. This happened originally when i purchased the DH67BL motherboard and i5-2500 chip. I memtested all RAM and thorough fitness testes passed. I saw the DH67BL was eligible for a warranty replacement which i did. Intel was pretty cool about the warranty replacement and even sent the new motherboard first. Unfortunately I still get the exact same issue. even though I reinstalled the graphics driver. My video driver is 8.15.10.2321. I can provide the RMA number if necessary so you can get full specs on the new board Intel sent me.

Good evening.
I Need some help with the Intel HD Graphics Driver.
I tried everything that I know to fix it and im out of ideas.
The monitor go to sleep after the Starting windows Logo. (The only thing that works is the Standard VGA driver)
First this is my hardware:
CPU: Intel CORE I3-2100 LGA1155
MB: Elitegroup H67H2-M2 (V1)
RAM: 2 X 2 GB ADATA DDR 3 1333MHZ
Monitor: HP LCD w2338h using HDMI cable.
Chipset: H67 WITH B3
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (32bits).
What I did as soon as a fresh copy of windows 7 was installed
1.- Install all the drivers that came with the motherboard. (Chipset drivers, Audio, LAN, USB controllers etc..)
2.- Restart the computer and the monitor black out after the logo screen.
3.- Safe Mode (Uninstall Intel HD Graphics Family Driver)
4.- Windows started with Standard VGA driver.
5.- I tried first downloading the newest drivers from Elitegroup website for my Motherboard.with the same result.
6.- I Updated the Bios and didn't help
7.- Install everything form windows updates (Including the newest chipset driver and newest Intel HD Graphics Driver without success.
I don't know what else to do.
I tried running the intel driver utility and dosen't work either ( Internet explorer 9.0 Crashes as soon as you run it from the page and Firefox stucks on loading forever.
If somebody knows how to fix this I will apreciate it.
Thank u.

After I install intel Graphics driver, LCD's DVI channel becomes black screen. Only VGA channel works correctly.
I found that if I install the driver again and don't reboot the computer, the intel driver will detect 2 monitors(Dell G2410(Analog) and Dell G2410(Digtial). Both of them work correctly.
After I reboot the computer, the intel driver can't detect Dell G2410(Digtial) again. DVI channel becomes black screen again....Only VGA channel works correctly.
Is it a driver problem??

Hello, i have the same problem with my Lenovo G550 notebook.
I'd like to connect the notebook to LCD TV with HDMI. The video is perfectly, but audio is not. I think this driver solve this problem. If not, write me please.

Asus K50IJ Notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (upgraded from Vista Home Premium 64bit)
Immediately after the download finishes the display cuts out completely but the computer remains otherwise responsive. I was able to access system restore fairly easily after upgrading to Win7 but before the upgrade I was completely helpless and had to reformat and do a clean install of Vista.
