Hi Fernando

What operating system are you using? Did Bluray work before you update to the 9.17.10.2875 drivers?

Hello Robert

I´m using Windows 8 64 bits. The bluray didn´t work before the update.

Thanks

Did the system come with Win 8 installed or did you upgrade to Win 8 from Win 7?

Hi

It comes with Windows 7 but it´s a brand new installation, not an up-grade.

Thanks

Did Bluray play on Win 7? What version of Cyberlink do you have?

Also, if you can go to the Cyberlink site http://www.cyberlink.com/stat/window8-updates-center/enu/index.jsp?affid=2581_947_505_23604_0_ENU_-&utm_source=CLHP_HotTopic&utm_medium=CLHP_HotTopic_23604_powerdvd&utm_campaign=CL_Homepage here for a free Cyberlink Win 8 compatability test.

Hi

No, I had the same problem with Windows 7. I have the Cyberlink PowerDVD 9.

I used the compatibility test but the result is not clear if I have or not problems>

To ensure you are getting the best possible performance, we offer the following recommendations when using your software with Windows 8:

What model of Dell system do you have? When you say Bluray did not work with Win 7, was it the Dell build of Win 7? Are you sure you have a Bluray drive in the system?

Does your DVD drive have this logo on it?

Hi

I have a Dell Latitude E6320. My bluray is an external Samsumg Bluray Drive SE-506. When I start the PowerDVD I receive the warning that the graphic card from Intel is OK but not the driver version.

With Windows 7 I had exactly the same problem.

Thanks

Could you please post the system information from the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel?

To do this, Right Click on the desktop --> Left Click Graphics Properties

Once the Panel is open, Click the Options and Support tab --> Click Information Center --> Click Save. Save it as a text file and cut and past the contents here.

Everything looks good.

I think the issue is Power DVD 9 compatibility. There is an update from Cyberlink that is for Win 7 compatibility on http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdvd/patches_en_US.html this update page.

However, what I see is you will need PowerDVD 12 to work with Win 8.
