Can my computer configuration run an ultrawide monitor(3440 x 1440)?

Hi Intel Team

I am using the HP desktop with below information:

Intel(R) Core(TM)  i7-6700 CPU @ 3.4GHz

Intel(R) HD Graphics 530

Window 7

As per the above captioned, can I use the ultrawide monitor?

This question is really hard to answer if we're missing the computer's model...

The "ability" to output a specific video resolution doesn't rely only on CPU capabilities, but also on the type of connections/video ports in use (they have different capabilities and use different technologies), and manufacturers may also design (limit) systems with specific video output capabilities that may differ from what a CPU may support...

Also, it is not only the "resolution 3440 x 1440" that counts here, but it also depends on the refresh rate that you would like to achieve...

i7-6700 supports 4k@24hz for HDMI and 4k@60hz for DP. From there, you need to play with refresh rates and bandwidth when trying to set different resolutions like QHD/WQHD.

For a really accurate and official answer whether or not your PC supports 3440 x 1440, you need to ask HP.
