Changing maximum resolution on a video card

I have two identical graphics cards in two identical Dell Computers.The drivers are identical as well, but they have different maximum resolutions. One cannot go above 1400x1050, while the other goes to 1900x1200. Can anyone tell me how to get the one with a lower maximum resolution to go higher? Both have identical monitors as well.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
