DQ77KB & Pentium G2030 cpu failed Digital Cable Advisor

I got an error " Graphics, Fail, Your graphics card or driver doesn't support content protection" when setting up Windows 7 Media Center, I had latest board bios, drivers and freshly loaded Windows 7 pro 64 sp1 with updates. It's also failed with HDMI or HDMI to Displayport cable. Is my hardware not HDCP compliant? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Hello dkhit97,

This error may appear if the HDMI cable does not support HDCP.

Our graphics controllers support HDCP but you must use a HDMI 1.4 to have this working. This is a form of digital copy protection to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections

You can find more information at this link:

Hi Kevin,

I tried a 1.4 HDMI cable from Amazon but still failed. Using same cable & tv, I was able to test and passed on a Shuttle compact pc with Celeron J1900.

My older pc using DC e8200 cpu & Foxconn board with G45 chipset also passed using any hdmi cable. Thanks you for your reply, please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Finally I got DQ77KB passed the DCA, problem wasn't the HDMI cables or drivers (I tried them all: original from the cd & intel web site). It works right away as soon as I change the graphic options out to Digital Television instead of the default "Clone Displays".
