Hi LT7879,
Thank you for your interest, to answer your question here are some information I gather.
Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC)
The Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) is a user interface application designed to help users configure and control the Intel Graphics Driver. It offers a user-friendly platform for making feature changes and customizing graphics settings to enhance the viewing experience. Key features include:
- Customization of Graphics Settings: Users can adjust various graphics settings to optimize performance and visual quality.
- Display Configuration Management: IGCC allows users to manage multiple displays and configure display settings.
- Seamless Integration with the Graphics Driver: The application integrates smoothly with the Intel graphics driver, providing a cohesive user experience.
The IGCC is included with the display driver and allows for some customization by OEMs, although customization of default icons and bitmaps is not supported.
Intel Graphics Software
Intel Graphics Software refers to the comprehensive suite of software components that include the graphics drivers and associated utilities necessary for the operation of Intel graphics hardware. This suite includes:
- Graphics Drivers for Operating System Integration: Essential for the proper functioning of Intel graphics hardware.
- Utilities for Managing Graphics Settings: Tools that assist in configuring and optimizing graphics settings.
- Software Development Kits (SDKs) for Application Development: Resources for developers to create applications that leverage Intel graphics technology.
While the IGCC is a part of the Intel Graphics Software ecosystem, the term "Intel Graphics Software" encompasses a broader range of tools and drivers beyond just the IGCC user interface.
In essence, the Intel Graphics Command Center is a specific application within the broader Intel Graphics Software suite, focused on providing a user interface for managing and customizing graphics settings. In contrast, Intel Graphics Software includes the drivers and other tools necessary for the operation and development of applications using Intel graphics hardware.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or need additional information.

Dear @DarwinC_Intel,
Thank you for the confirmation. I have installed it as per your advise, and when I check in the reliability monitor, there is an error from IntelGraphicsSofwareServices everytime I shutdown my laptop and the only solution to remove the error message so far is to do the following :
1. Settings - Apps - Startup; turn off Intel Graphic Software.
2. Windows Tools - Services - Intel Graphics Software Service; Startup Type ; set to Manual.
May I know what will be the impact?
Thanks

Hi Darwin,
Sorry for my late response. I have updated the driver to the latest version, currently my setting is :
Intel Graphics Software - startup disable
Windows Tools - Services - Intel Graphics Software Service; Startup Type ; set to Automatic
And so far no error message in the reliability report.
Any advantage to enable the Intel Graphics Software in startup? or can I leave it disable?
Please advise
Thanks

Hi LT7879,
I hope this email finds you well. To answer your question regarding the advantages of enabling Intel Graphics Software on startup, there are several benefits, particularly for systems utilizing Intel integrated graphics:
- Improved Performance: Intel Graphics Software can optimize the performance of integrated graphics by ensuring that the latest drivers and settings are applied as soon as the system boots. This can lead to smoother graphics rendering and better overall system responsiveness.
- Automatic Updates: By enabling the software on startup, you ensure that any updates or patches are automatically applied, keeping the graphics drivers up-to-date and improving security and compatibility with new applications.
- Enhanced Features: Intel Graphics Software often includes features such as display management, power-saving options, and performance tuning. Having these features enabled on startup allows users to take advantage of them immediately without manual intervention.
However, since this issue is currently under investigation, we highly suggest disabling the Intel Graphics Software on startup as a temporary solution. If you have any concerns or need further clarification, please let us know so we can assist you further.
Best regards,
Darwin C.
