Hi !
I have some problems when i run games:
After like 15 min of game, my FPS drop to 11(was 30), sound go crazy. If i wait the problem dont fix itself, but if i Alt+tab, the FPS back to normal.
I tried to update driver but got no change .
Tried games:
CounterStrike: Global Offensive (Only on some maps) happen after 20 mins or more
League of legends : happen after 30 min or more
Overwatch: Always when i enter in a certain area on some laps. Or after 10 mins or more.
War Thunder: after 5 mins or more, on certain maps.
All games run on low settings.
Tanks !

My laptop is a Dell inspiron 14z 5423.
The Samsung SSD(you can see it in the results) Is a cache SSD of 8g using intel rapid storage
I'm using a laptop cooler preventing the laptop to overheat (until this, the framerate wont go better until the laptop is cold)

Hi,
I noticed this happening also on a mmorpg: Allods online.
PS: Is not the same problem, as for my system it has nothing to do with heat. The game starts with low fps and after I alt+tab, fps goes back to normal and not anymore problems after that.

Hi Nixo,
Thank you for your update. I reviewed the results and you are using an i3-3217U with HD 4000. The compatible drivers for 3gen processors and older are going to be distributed by Windows 10 update utility.
I suggest you to get into the BIOS and reset its settings then, uninstall and delete the current graphics driver. Restart the system and run Windows 10 update.
Your games require a big amount of resources from your system, so it will get hotter very soon.

Hi,
Try to use this utility: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 15.7.5.5
Select Intel at Graphic Driver.
Then click on Clean and DO NOT Restart.
And then Set Automatic Installation Driver to default. And after that restart.
If you have the same problem it maybe some other problem on your system.

So, it solved nothing, problem occur everygame, each 2-3 mins.
But i found out when i was monitoring the task manager on the second screen, when i got a FPS drop, the game use suddendly less CPU. (50-40% to 20-30%)

You may have other problem. Your laptop is not new and it may need some cleaning. It is possible that the coolers/fans may have dust on them, or a fan is not working anymore, and when you start playing after the CPU/graphic card is slowing speed because is overheating.
You can check with your hand on the back of the laptop when u see the fps drop, to see if its hot. If it is then you must go with the laptop at a pc service for a cleanup, or a check for a possible broken fan.
