Hi, I just updated my Kaby Lake i5-7600 HD 630 to latest graphics driver 15.46.2.1.64.4729
After resuming from sleep my screen just flashes and displays vertical lines. I can't see the desktop just the lines and flashing screen.
I have to power off the machine and reboot to get back into windows.
Seems to be an issue with the latest update as previous driver worked ok.

Hello everyone,
This issue should be fixed with driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27355 15.60.01.4877 . Note: Any user with 6th Generation graphics (Skylake) on Windows 7/8.1 please use driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27360 15.45.23.4860
If you still see this issue with the aforementioned driver, then I'll suggest creating a new thread using this format (feel free to reference this thread).
Every scenario is different and we could use the new data provided to determine why it is still affecting your system.
I'm locking this thread now since we have been receiving positive feedback on this latest driver.
Thank you all for your patience and assistance in resolving this issue.
Best Regards,
Ronald M.

we have 40 new dell 7050 optiplexes that were deployed with windows 10, they all recieved this latest driver from windows update. driver version 22.20.16.4771
After this driver hit these machines, any computers running monitors over VGA started going into power save mode randomly, and you cannot get it out of that mode without full shut off of the computer. switching to a Display port connected model monitor solves the issues also.
these are intel 630 model computers, running windows 10 pro 64 bit, and i have 60 more to deploy, this needs to get fixed ASAP. as i dont have enough monitors to replace my older monitors. with 250 employees, this will get very expensive to solve on our own.

Hello techdude,
Can you please let me know what is the BIOS version currently installed on the Dell 7050 Optiplex? Just in case, as per Dell's site the latest version is 1.6.5 (October 3rd 2017)
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/optiplex-7050-desktop/drivers Support for OptiPlex 7050 | Drivers & downloads | Dell US
Try updating the BIOS and let me know if it makes any difference.
Kindest Regards,
Ronald M.

@Ronald_Intel, I believe I am using the HD 530 hardware (6700HQ CPU). But when I use the Intel Driver installer to update my Intel driver, I cannot find the 15.45.21.4821 driver. If I manually install it, it always fails with "cannot execute" error or sth like that. I just want to try this driver to see if the issue has been solved or not. Maybe you can suggest me if I should wait a little bit longer for Intel to release the new driver to fix this issue. Lenovo Thinkpad P50 is my computer model. The Fall Creator Update of Windows 10 doesn't allow me to roll back to any earlier version of Intel drivers, unfortunately. Thanks.

So I am not the only one getting this issue. Same here with me. 6th gen i7 processor. It's definitely a driver issue not the issue of compatibility. I rolled back to Version 15.45.19.4678 as this version is working fine and I suggest everyone here to do so till this is resolved. Never got this screen flashing issue before these 15.46 versions.

I have installed the drivers from Intel on my Dell laptop. They are OK for the most part except when resuming from sleep. The display won't turn on. So I have to use the older Dell driver.
It would be nice if Intel could provide standard drivers that are independent from the laptop manufacturers will to update their stuff.
That should be the norm.

Having Intel provide the BIOS update would be beneficial in this case. However, look at it from the MB or laptop manufacturers' perspective. Do I want to have Intel be responsible for my MB or laptop booting and show a screen? From that perspective they would prefer control of that BIOS, especially since they are directly connected to that BIOS on initial power up. Just another perspective.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue. When I try to get my computer to come out of sleep, it does, but my monitor stays blank. I have to do a hard shutdown to get the monitor up again. I have a Dell Inspiron Desktop with Win 10 and an older Samsung monitor 170s. It recently installed 2 updates: Security Update for Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 3 (KB3213647) and 2017-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4041676). I thought that the MS updates were the problem, but now I wonder if it's an Intel Driver.
I am extremely confused about what to try or if Intel has fixed this problem. Any advice?

Just adding that I now have this issue after the Windows Fall Creators Update was installed last week.
The Intel HD Graphics 530 driver was automatically updated to version 22.20.16.4749.
Motherboard is MSI Z170-A PRO (MS-7971 with latest BIOS) and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1709 (OS Build 16299.19).

Solution for Motherboard MSI Z170-A PRO (MS-7971) and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1709
I have the same hardware on Fall Creator 1709 and had the same problem!
This solved it:
You can get the latest beta BIOS http://msi-ftp.de:8080/login.html here
7971_1j1 from 27.10.2017 and Intel driver 22.20.16.47.15 worked for me

The same problem with HD 530 (v15.48)
When trying to start the computer after sleeping:
Another problem I have with this graphics card and for a few versions ago is that when opening a video in full screen on youtube is frozen in all browsers (chrome, firefox, edge), and if I force the use of the card nvidia does not occur. (could it be related?)

Hello,
I had reported the same issue a few weeks ago. Today I tried the latest driver posted by Intel - 15.45.21.4821 and this resolved my issue.

Unfrotunately that driver is 15.45 series. The problem lies within the 15.47 series.
I'm using same driver at the moment.
Performance wise 15.47 series better that 15.45 series.

I had this issue in the 15.46 series on my Dell laptop with the drivers downloaded from Intel's web site about two months ago. I rolled back to Dell's drivers which are in the 15.46 too and they work. The drivers from Dell are a version that is not posted on Intel's web site.

Happens to me as well, since yesterday (Oct 28th 2017)
Details:
Intel Graphics HD530
Driver 22.20.16.4749
Windows 10 64 bit
Display: Dell U2412M
Cable: DVI to DVI
Disconnecting/reconnecting cables doesn't help - only restart
Reproduce: Put computer to sleep and wake it up.

Same thing happens to me. Same screen with @e_e after wake up from hibernation.
Using Dell Inspiron 7567 with i7-7700HQ, Intel HD Graphics 630 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti).
I'm not using any extnernal connection or monitor such as HDMI, DVI, DP.
Any driver version that starts with 22 (22.xx.xx.xxxx) has same issue.
Now I rollbacked my driver to 21.20.16.4664 and works fine.
The most annoying this is, Windows is trying to update drive to latest version.
It's 3rd time to rollbacking my display driver.

The latest 22.xx.xx.xxxx driver from Dell does not have this problem. It is somewhat earlier than those available for download here.
Anyway have you already tried the suggested 15.60 on Dell 7567?

I came across the same problem - the stripy screen when waking with a rectangular cursor - on my dell laptop, so I have some info on it.
My specs:
Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567 laptop
Windows 10 pro Version 1709 Build 16299.19
Bios version 01.00.03
video cards: Intel HD graphics 630
Nvidia GTX 1050
Intel driver version: 22.20.16.4735
I thought the issue was connected to some others (with the game osu and geogebra's 3d graphics window), but reinstalling the driver and updating windows solved it (they have not come up since).
Some things I haven't seen in this thread:
The issue seems to go away for some people when they wait for the screensaver to activate and wake the screen,
The issue is also present on the 630, not just 530 and 520,
The same issue on Microsoft's forum, so maybe you get some new info:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power/vertical-lines-on-screen-after-waking-laptop-from/c4877ef3-5f10-4b58-8ff4-9c526396c626?auth=1&rtAction=1509475263540 https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power/vertical-lines-on-screen-after-waking-laptop-from/c48…
I wanted to try rolling back to the 21.20.16.4727_A03 but I'll try to update my BIOS first seeing the answers here.
Edit: The Bios update probably solved it, I can't reproduce the error any more. (the new version is 1.2.0)
