Hallo zusammen
Hilfe?
Besten Dank und liebe Grüsse
tt

Thanks for joining the graphics community.
I understand you are trying to get video signal from your HDMI TV through your computer using an external video card.
Does the HDMI video port on your graphics card work?
Have you tested the video card on a different PC?
The BIOS on the computer does not provide any option for HDMI output but did you check TV source settings? I know that once you change video cable, you need to change video source on the TV.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Allan.

Hello Allan,
Thank you for your answer.
No, the problem is:
i have an intel dh55tc mainboard, since some months i buyed a graphiccard R9 Radeon 280 and works fine. I had an old VGA monitor attached. Worked with a VGA/DVI Adapter.
Now i buyed a new monitor (not TV!) Samsung LS24D300, FullHD. But my PC doesn't recognize the monitor if i attach it through a HDMI/HDMI cable. It's recognized with a VGA cable through the DVI Adapter.
I went with my new monitor and hdmi cable to the reseller, and we tested them both, and the cable and the monitor hdmi works... but not on my PC...
I have no other devices or cables where i could do some tests.
Perhaps is it a problem of Bios-Video-Settings of my dh55tc mainboard?

Thanks for the information. At this point, you have a Radeon card and try to connect your monitor via HDMI.
I regret to inform you that the BIOS do not have any video settings that help detecting HMDI connection,
Have you selected monitor video source? HDMI monitors needed to be selected as primary video through monitor settings.
Do you happen to know if the HDMI port on the video card works fine?
Allan.

Hi Allan,
I have this Dell Inspiron N5110 with Intel HD family 3000 graphic card and one HDMI port. Trying to connect to the SAMSUNG 32" LED TV using HDMI cable.
I am able to use my cable from other laptop to LED TV, Its working fine. I grabbed latest available graphic drivers but nothing displaying on the TV.
My Graphic properties showing only single monitor option. The Monitor/ TV Settings displaying the title as "Monitor/TV settings are not supported."
Please let me know if I can use this laptop to project my video onto my TV. I've tried most of the solutions on various blogs and spent considerable of time on this issue but of no help.
Copying DxDiag complete output for your reference.
Thanks in Advance.

I have been able to connect HDMI monitor using high quality cable http://www.amazon.com/Video-Audio-Gold-Plated-Connectors-Black/dp/B00NKOIIRA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1424711436&sr=8-3&keywords=20276+cable 20276 with the latest Intel® HD Graphics 3000 driver version 4101.
I would recommend contacting your computer manufacturer for possible warranty options on the HDMI ports.
Allan.
