How to disable auto rotation on HD 4000?

How do I disable the auto rotation "feature" on the HD 4000 on board graphics? I have a 4:3 monitor at 1600 x 1200. Whenever I start my game, apparently, the display of the game is taller than the screen so the graphics card rotates the image 90 degrees to the right. I want the display to stay vertical. This is a known problem with Intel on board graphics. If there is no fix, is there an older driver that I can use?

To get more information about your system, could you please attach the result of the Intel® System Support Utility?
